- I’m of the mindset we’ve chosen our era’s anyhow (soul contracts) so the era I’m in now is where I’m meant to be

East Sussex

I don't want to live in another era, I like having the internet and life saving medical treatment.

There are so many historical events I'd love to witness that I can't name them all. I'd like to observe the Norman army coming ashore, Elizabeth 1 coronation and funeral, life in bronze age Britain and to join in on a pilgrimage to Canterbury for starters please

"The eventual heat death of the universe please."

To be around at the end of everything would be pretty interesting and intense.

Was it Dr who or hitchhiker's guide who was holding an end of time party?

If there's been time wasting though does it get added on at the end?

I think it was hitchhikers and they had time travel vacations to it. I think Dr who did an end of the Earth one.

Maybe the March on Washington would be nice to see. But also not so much an era I’d like to live in.

The best era to live in I imagine is right now. And I’d be down to go and see Obama getting sworn in live. My aunt was there

Always fancied the Wild West. Cowboys and could see myself as an outlaw. Very fascinated by that era and some incredible characters around back then too

I think I’d like to stick here but be able to investigate major historical events in contemporary time à la St Mary’s (it’s not time travel). In which case I’d like to go back to 793 and also have a good general mooch about the later Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Late Restoration (if I’m France) or mid Georgian (in England). On the proviso I’m rich then.

I'd not fare so well in many or all former eras, so I'm reasonably happy today. But I really would have loved the 60s.

Healthcare today is also so much better than eras past, where so many children died

I wonder how many historical events were actually has described.

What I mean is before the camera was invented. Did history writers embellish great events. Examples were some great battles that were fought until standstill. In reality like a gang fight in a Glasgow scheme a few dozen guys brawling and one side running away after 5 mins.
