"Mops are such a ballache to clean and disinfectant, much prefer the flash throwaway pads "
Traditional mops, yep, completely and never felt the for was properly clean after using one. But, not keen on the throwaway ones either, just don't seem as effective...
My mop of choice is... the squirty mop with machine washable pad.
What excitement for a Friday and yep, I shall be mopping later and probably moping as well, after another busy day. |

My mop is so heavy when it's soaked in water I struggle to lift it sometimes.
I need a lightweight one.

"I have to sweep and vacuum before I mop.
It's an all day job.
It sure is. Its a three level process for me sweep, hoover, floor wipes. "
Squirty mop win.
I do likewise but, use the mop dry for the sweeping bit. Then the hoovering is easy and the mop is ready to make sure it's clean... plus do the rest of the hoovering at the same time and keeps it efficient. |

My daughter has one of those squirty mop things.
It wouldn't be practical for my house. My broom gets behind the radiator pipes and collects the dog hairs I don't want in the vacuum cleaner.
I like to soak my floors with the mop as my dogs and son make a lot of mess.
It's like living in a zoo. |

Parents have golden retrievers and can never keep up with their hair loss but, squirty mop works well for my collie and I. He can get mucky but the mop works well enough for that and he doesn't particularly lose much hair. Result. |

We have a shark steam mop and definitely recommend it! We just moved in a month ago and it was disgusting how the old owners left it! The kitchen and living room took 3 mop heads to clean! |
