I do this if I'm not interested in someone, mainly I guess because it's quicker than long paragraphs

Do you mean like longer messages broken up in to one line messages?

Or just short replies when they're not particularly interested?

I'm talking about actual conversation but sent in short sentence messages instead of putting it in one long text

Oh men do that as well. I don't know why. Maybe they think it's easier to keep someone interested if they're having to wait with bated breath for their next point.

Maybe it's learned behaviour from the days of MSN messenger and chat rooms. It might be a generational thing.

Not everyone here is unlucky with women I do quite well and women stay with me for years .its just strange that some women do this . I should have said ladies why do some of you only text in short sentence when you been talking for a while surely long texts would be easier.

Everyone is different. The few women who do message me do give it a go to be fair (even if it's telling me I'm a prick )

It's usually men or Trans that message me

Hey how are you or hey fancy unloading your load in me?

But if anyone sends a sentence as a message, not enough details on it, so you dont get a reply go figure ?

It does drive me a bit mad when I’m messaging with someone and they hit send after every sentence, although equally I can get irritated when I’m watching the three little dots blinking for ages while they type, especially when it then turns out to only be a short message anyway and you spend ages wondering what on Earth they were thinking of saying but then changed their minds about! Jeez, I sound so much fun don’t I!

That’s because it was not a really complicated attempt at humor but just gentle ribbing and any couple or woman on Fab know many men like to send short messages.

My kids can tell who's messaging me from the pattern of beeps on my phone One person sends 5 messages in a row, a line per message that would often make one sentence and they'll be like xxx is messaging you mummy! Essentially what I'm saying is, men do it a lot too.
