I have ended up in hospital hooked up on a drip, with swollen eyes, closed throat, swollen lips and rashes all over my body. What are you allergic to ? Also are you allergic to foods you really like ? I get really bad heyfever. Food wise its shellfish( Prawns, Lobster and Crab)  |

Hope you're better soon OP.
I've developed an allergic reaction to a few prescription pain meds which is a bugger because I have endometriosis  
It was not a nice week when I found it out

I'm allergic to amoxicillin. I got some once from the dentist, and within a day I had a hot, red rash all over me. My face was a bit puffy, and my head hurt. Not life threatening in any way, just uncomfortable. I looked like I had a weirdly-patterned sunburn for three weeks.

The only thing I'm allergic to is a group of medicines called sulfanomides. Discovered aged 18 when I had a serious reaction called Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Pretty fucking unpleasant. Took me months to recover. Could have been a hell of a lot worse. 10% of people who get it die. No lasting ill effects thankfully. |

My random sensitivity is that white surgical sellotape stuff that nurses use to stick cotton wool balls on your arm after an injection. Added a whole new fun dimension to getting my covid jabs when my arm swelled up and blistered where the tape was! |
