Hi lovely people

Do you think it’s possible there are people on here with fake verifications? I’m getting a little suspicious ??

I saw a profile last week that had verifications written in exactly the same idiosyncratic style as the profile text from two other profiles. No way they weren’t faked.

It’s very easy to fake veris on here but until someone comes up with a better system it’s the best way to out fakes and timewasters.

We wouldn’t accept any other kind.

Real verifications are not our kind of thing sorry.

We sometimes check veris of people we meet and if they have one from someone we actually know it's definitely real

Of course there are.

But if you can't work out if someone is real or not then that's an issue with your vetting process.

Veris can be useful, but only as part of the equation. How hard is it to make a call or webcam if you're worried he's a she or vice versa?

Putting all your faith in a veri is asking for trouble. If people have multiple, from other well verified sources - clubs, social events and from long standing member, then you can usually put more faith in them.

One or two short, graphic sentences? Yeah. Be wary.

It’s absolutely this!

Often it’s hilariously easy to spot the fake veri’s as they almost always tend to written in the same syntax or (as flagged above) the same style!

The frightening thought is just how much time these people have on their hands that they’d create profiles and fake other profiles for verifications; my personal favourite was a single guy who had verifications on his verifications, single and couples profiles as well as single girls!

All written in the same style, it was bizarre and bit eye widening

There aren't guarantees here, we just have to use our intuition and common sense, not always taking things at face value.

Ha, yes of course. I regularly get asked to write them in exchange for one in return from random people I never met.

There's a guy on here with a new profile every couple of weeks who writes his own and gets women to publish them, they're always pretty gross and explicit. He writes them one in return. He gets shut down inevitably from being reported but opens a new one a few days later.

Fake verifications are easy if you want them.

Yeh the lady I’m talking to keeps refusing to voice note or video. But insists I send her graphic videos.

She insists her verifications should be enough but her pure reluctance to even send a selfie posing to confirm she’s real really makes me sceptical.

Yes, but it’s complicated some may have fakes but not be fake. When Frankie set up their solo profile they asked people that had met them to verify the new account. However a person we’d not met at all verified their account. So this veri sits there on their summary (they don’t display it) but is completely bogus.

Not at all. I 100% trust veris are proof of how good a fuck they are and a true representation of who they have fucked.

A verified person verifies a fake then that account can verify anyone

It's quite common, the longer you are on the site it's fairly easy to spot.

Fake profiles also.. overly chatty within first few messages get explicit almost immediately and always looking for photos or videos. Redflag!

Fake profiles verifying fake profiles... I do wonder if some new profiles are setup just to make it look as if new members are always joining

Obi haive.. Some of those veris go way back on profiles.

I get messages oh no veris..

All I hear is folk here cannot even vouch for what they put in a text message on here because of trust issues.

I am not afraid of people calling me to verify

I am a woman, but I get oh but you could be a man. My photo is verified woman. Surely that is enough on the verified woman side.

So. Whats the solution?

No, the profile was written in a very particular style. So were all the veris left from several different profiles. They were definitely written by the same person - same errors, same syntax, same style.

We're both in the West Mids I bet this is the same account I've seen, the veris left for him are identical to the veris he's left.

I’ve refused 2 requests for what amounted to ‘quid pro quo’ fake verifications since I’ve been back.

Whether they would have helped me appear more ‘meet-able’ or not (probably not ) is neither here nor there. But I’m glad I said no

I wonder if it's the person I'm talking about too? Writes his own for both his and other person's profile. There's always a theme with them too....

We've had 2 fakes given to us over the years. We flag them to mods, who have remove them. We don't need fake ones. We're also carful who we veri after we've met in clubs. Having a love for gg nights. We don't always get names ect. But a few questions by dm, sorts the wheat from the chaff.
