Listened to some of her early songs yesterday...refreshing to hear what a great voice she had.
Stopped listening to her after the 80s , there was only a few that I liked after that era.
She was the Queen of Pop. |

I remember liking the first lot of songs. borderline, crazy for you
Papa don't preach, cherish, like a prayer,
Then the next lot, I only liked deeper and deeper and secret. Haven't liked anything after that, 4 minutes was only good because of Justin T,
In fact I don't know any of her songs since 2008 lol |

"Confused by her plastic surgery. She looked great as she was "
She's in an industry where she'll have been publicly criticised for being too fat/thin/old/young from the minute she stepped into the spotlight. She probably felt she needed surgery |

That's a sad indictment of modern society |

I think it's always been that way for people in the public eye. |

I love her. She’s not my music taste now but u can not deny what an icon she is.
She is fierce and unpredictable, she’s the first of her kind & without her women wouldn’t have (what little) power they have in the music industry now.
There were fore runners of course, Tina, Debbie Harry, Dusty, Cher & Kate Bush etc , but none the same decade. Not with the same impact. Love or hate her now…there’s no denying her influence.
