I loved cerazette. It just didn't stop my endometriosis enough. I didn't bleed but I know people who have. I did have random bleeding for about 3-4 hours every so often though which was bloody irritating. |

I've got the implanon implant (cos I'm rubbish at taking pills lol)
When I first had it put in I had bleeding for 12 weeks!!! I tore a strip off the nurse and was on the verge of having it taken out bit it soon settled.
Now I am near to getting it replaced and have now been on for 3 weeks
I will have it again, but this time I won't fiddle with it and break it in half |

I dont think theres such a thing as normal with any form of contraception, some women will have periods and some wont on any, ive been on the depo 11 years and never had a period at all in that time
if your worried just call up the family planning clinic and ask

I've been on Cezarette for years. I can't remember having bleeding at the start, but I don't bleed at all now.
Just looking at the leaflet:
Vaginal bleeding may occur at irregular intervals while using Cezarette. This may be slight staining or heavier bleeding. You may also have no bleeding at all. Irregular bleeding is not a sign Cezerette is not working. In general, you need not take any action; just continue to take Cezerette. If bleeding is heavy or prolonged you should consult your doctor.
Hope this helps. |

With any OCP (oral contraceptive pill) it takes a while for your cycle to settle down into it's own pattern, especially seeing as you were on depot and changed to OCP.
It WILL settle but if your extended period gets to much have another word with your GP who will advise.
All ICP's affect each person in a different way - it's very individual and it will never be the same for everybody.
Some people experience no periods, some lighter periods and other's heavier and the same goes with other symptoms around your cycle.
Give it a little more time and if it doesn't settle after about another week go back to your GP to discuss.
Hope it sorts itself out for you

IMO, there's no such thing as 'normal'. If you're having problem periods, then keep on going back to the docs, and get advice specially for YOU. If you're having NO periods, then keep peeing on the stick (and go back to the docs if the answer surprises you).
Everyone has a different reaction to chemical contraception, and I hope everything goes the way you want it to. |

You'll also be waiting to the depo to get out of your system which can take up to 2 years. Obiviously the depo should stop you bleeding alaltogether. So the change in medication may take your body time to adjust.
Good luck and hope its all sorted in the future. |
