One of our neighbors left a cardboard box out for collection by the binmen on Thursday. They did not take it.

Today, the council sent some litter-pickers along our road, it needed doing, and a damned fine job they made of it.

Unfortunately one bright spark in their team let them down by placing the cardboard box on the wall.

It is a windy day.

End result, the road has as much litter strewn on it now as it did before they came

I know it's not Thursday but I just felt like a moan

Why didn't you put the cardboard box full of rubbish in the empty wheelie bin after the binmen had been. That's what I do.

It wasn't my box, but you would have thought that at least one of two visits by council rubbish collectors could have disposed of it.

See I thought the recycling blokes took it but they don't? I even left a washing powder box but the man said they cannot take it as its cardboard in the middle bit

Recycling (blue bins) go out every fortnight. You can only put glass, tins and certain types of plasticy type things in them.
