I think "perving" or "having a perve" is used affectionately to describe any passive viewing of salacious material/performance. Don't think consensual voyeurism ranks very high on the perversions list! If anything it's considered a bit puerile (cos to non voyeurs...why would anyone prefer to watch over getting stuck in).
