At Peacehaven, Sussex approx 8 miles east of the centre of Brighton and marked by a large monument on the A259 coast road. Anyone else live close to the Greenwich meridian?

I believe its measured in minutes. Used to live 7 minutes east of it

Degrees, minutes and seconds. At our latitude each degree of longitude is approx 60 miles apart. Conversely a minute would equate to a mile and a second approx 30 yards. *(In the words of Superramfan - Courtesy of the Useless Information Department)
