I rarely post statuses, so if I do I'm likely attention seeking. If my message filters are open I'm definitely attention seeking.
But everyone operates the site and it's functions in their own way. |

If it's actually relevant to the status I have no issue with it. If its someone trying to use it as a "way in" then I ignore it.
Often I post events in attending on my status. Sometimes people message to say their attending too |

Sometimes it’s a little cringey…I think it depends on the update.
Someone wrote a mills and boon type response on what they wanted to do to C’s breasts after our last update.

The reason i would normally put a status update is i would normally be looking for a meet or something in particular.
So i would expect messages but would hope they had read my profile before messaging.
Only time it would annoy me is if it says not meeting or looking for anyone.

Yes sometimes I do on my single profile.
If it's from the same people who wait and then send a message constantly when I've put an update on.
I often put a quote I like or a song lyric.I don't feel everything needs a comment ,unless I'm asking for one.
I recently put a status about a rugby match I was watching & this bloke put he was watching too & attached 6 cock pics in!!no need,I'd have happily chatted about the game.
So I guess it depends on the nature of the reply to it and if it's one of those pests who pounce on an update.
