What do you bring to the table?

How do you personally enhance the quality of this site?

Do you consider yourself to be part of a community or on outsider peaking through a window?

For me I like to think my profile is straight to the point with a bit of humour thrown in so people know from the offset if we are going to hit it off. I have a mixture of photos that relect my interests and they get rotated. Sometimes i display a visible face one.

I do actually post meets and meet people from this site. Sometimes naughty public ones I also look out for fun fantasies on statuses to act out with fellow fabsters.

I attend local clubs and socials listed on here and am always happy to answer questions to newbies about clubs and events.

I try to support new ventures and put up events on my profile that might be of interest and I'm attending.

I post and comment somewhat (but not always) intelligently on the forums and try to give a reply to most comments on my threads.

All round I'd say I was the kind of fabber that makes this site a fun and entertaining place.

So my "added value" footprint is not too bad for a somewhat morbid doom and gloom monger ;-p

I think I am one of the few respectful guys on here. Always polite. I try and use my Doctor skills in an educational way in the forums.

I meet people when I am interested enough. I attend socials when I have the time and energy and they have always been very positive experiences for me.

In the forums I have always felt like an outsider. During the pandemic this used to affect me more- I suppose because of lockdowns, having lost my job, etc. Now the forum is a miniscule part of my Fab activity, but I still enjoy reading when I am bored.

So yeah, not a bad contribution

Forum treads are great for finding your feet around this lifestyle. But if your after the answers to life's mysteries you won't find them here. I Still don't know if a Jaffa cake is a cake or a biscuit and there have been many threads on the subject;-p

I bring myself to the table, that's all I have is me being me.

Other than adding to the reply count on forum posts I don't feel like I add any quality to the site, whether it's a well thought out reply to a serious post or a silly reply to a fun post I tend to get ignored more often than not. That's ok though, I know I have value to people in the real world even if I don't add any value in the fab world.

Definitely feel like an outsider looking in here, but I'm still here plodding along

I always enjoy those that view the world with a slightly darker slant.

Not everyone can be a shinny happy person. I value those that make me feel like less of an outsider.

No, it's more a quite realistic view of myself. If I left tomorrow, I'd soon be forgotten. And that's not in a self pitying way! It's just... there are many posters who say the same as me. I think my impact is... minimal and I'm happy with that.

Time is definitely a factor. I've spent way too much of it on here today already. Sometimes it's good to take a break from it.

These days, I always reply to every message, I return winks if interest is there, I contribute to the forums, attend clubs and always turn up when I say I will. I leave verifications. I'm also a silver site supporter.
