What’s acceptable / not acceptable to you when you meet off Fab or elsewhere?
Kissing? Oral? Anal? Full sex?
For some activities you might want protection, for others you might not.. or you might opt for bare all the way!
But hey, it’s ALL risky in its own way, right, even if the risks vary?
So where do YOU draw the lines?

It's a boring answer...but I evaluate the risks...it's a responsibility i take seriously because I wouldn't want to put anyone I care about at risk.
But I acknowledge nothing is 100% other than doing nothing. And that's not an option. |

Condoms and Femidoms When used correctly, will protect you from chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomoniasis, HIV and hepatitis B. However, condoms don't protect you from all STIs such as herpes, genital warts, syphilis and mpox which can be spread from skin-to-skin contact.
What I will say is viruses and diseases spread by bodily fluids are much more difficult to treat and in most cases more deadly. It was a less extreme example of a blood born infection that I wanted to use. Hep B vaccines are 3 set vaccines coupled with a blood serology test after 6 months. The vaccine success rate is not the best so additional treatments are often needed.
Hep C has no vaccine and no symptoms other than chronic liver disease. Both can be treated but is it better to prevent than treat? I would say so.
Not to mention HIV and Aids which are treatable but not curable.

If you have a weakened immune system or you're on kidney dialysis, the hepatitis B vaccine may not work as well as usual. You may need more frequent doses
Hospitals, GP surgeries and sexual health or GUM clinics usually provide the hepatitis B vaccination free of charge for anyone at risk of infection.
GPs may charge for the hepatitis B vaccine.The current cost of the vaccine is around £50 a dose and I think we charge £80 to £100 per blood test but I am not in billing so I can't be sure.
