Not even braising steaks? They are keenly priced at my local supermarkets.
Or try getting meat from a farm shop. |

"We wouldnt die without meat so we dont NEED to eat it. "
So when animals over populate what are we meant to do with them?? I understand why people don't eat meat its their choice... the same as eating meat is our choice... |

"NONE!! MEAT IS MURDER! "
Why comment on a thread like this one with this drivel.
Humans have eaten meat since we evolved, its natural. I bloody hate neo Nazi vegetarians!

"We wouldnt die without meat so we dont NEED to eat it. "
thats why my friend who has been veggie for years, who eats a varied an fulfilling veggie diet (not just chips and linda mccartny meals) has been told she needs to introduce fish into her diet to make sure she is getting enough protein as she grows older then, Dr...is it? |

I'm not a veggie, love a good steak too much. But I do eat quite abit of quorn when I make lasagne, chilli, spag bol. It tastes better in my opinion, its lighter & not as chewy. It gives you a huge whack of protein, and is low in fat too. It's a good substitute for anyone following a weight loss diet. It has a few benefits
And I also follow the MFM (Meat Free Monday, before you ask) campaign, so never eat meat on a monday. Gotta give those fluffy little critters a day off ya see |

"Lamb if its a nice cut. Turkey. I love left over turkey curry. "
Our family always called turkey curry...curried bugger.....
It started when my dad said to my mom "what we gonna do with all this left over turkey" ?
And she said "curry the bugger"
Hence forth...curried bugger was born |

Tofu dishes I like:
Fresh, thinly sliced, warm with syrup and possibly tinned fruits
Plainly steamed with a dash of dark soya sauce, chopped spring onions and a dash of toasted sesame oil to serve
Stuff with minced pork then deep fried
Deep fried on its own, then dunk in a spicy vinegar dip
Agedashi tofu as in deep fried then braised in a light soy broth
Tofu sticks, another deep fried version, served with a spicy sauce topped with a few finely chopped spring onions and a few toasted sesame seeds
Etc. etc...
