What’s your favourite kind of monkey?

I'm going with the chimp.
Great comic timing and they love a good cuppa, or so vintage Typhoo Tea adverts would have us believe.
(And yes, I know chomps are actually great apes and not technically monkeys, but for the purposes of widening the debate all forms of simians are acceptable in this thread) |

Outrageously promiscuous things, chimps, putting even the most exuberant of us here to shame. And from memory the two species vary in their tastes, the common chimp preferring to add in a bit of male-male homosexuality and the pygmy chimp female-female.
Then there are dolphins. They're even more outrageous. And also not monkeys. |

Good afternoon everyone
If I may, I would like to address my unacceptable behaviour on this thread yesterday, in which I wrongly mislabelled the work of hardworking chimps in the advertising industry, misattributing their splendid tea advertising work as being on behalf of Typhoo Tea.
I now fully accept that they were, in fact, advertising PG Tips.
I should like to take this opportunity to apologise to any member of the simian advertising community that I’ve offended.
I’m now going to enter a period of reflection, which I will use as a learning opportunity, in which I can educate myself more fully about the work of the simian advertising community.
You will be able to read more about all of this in my book ‘Brewing up a storm’, which will be released in time for Christmas.
