Open to it. But I don't believe I can be loved truly so that creates a barrier where I'll freeze and shut down.
Apparently I do do romantic things, but I don't then without thinking and only with certain people. I guess they need to be natural romantics too.

Yeah I don't think my idea of romance is the same as what most people consider it to be.

I dont mind an illusion of romance, but I dont go for the typical wine and roses romantic gestures anyway. If we aren't actually in love I will also be rather cynical about all attempts at romance that are just leads to get each other to bed. I will find it quite romantic if he comes in me though and he stays inside until he is all soft or he falls asleep  |

I like romance. Romance can be fun. But my kind of romance is taking a walk in the park to feed the ducks, snuggling up and watching a film, making sandwiches together to go and have a picnic, dancing together, etc. I don't need fancy things or places and I don't want gifts.
I have to really enjoy their company and feel totally comfortable with them though. And so long as the other person understands that romance means a lot of like but it doesn't have to mean monogamy and long term relationships,or that they are 'the one', then wonderful.
In reality at the beginning stages of meeting someone the wild fucking is likely to take precedence. |
