A lot of cakes look amazing but then the taste, the texture just isn't there.
Then you can be in sleepy cafe somewhere and say hey you know what I'll try a piece of that cake.
And then you take a bite, your eyes close as it's flavour profile melts on your tongue and you toy with each piece - reaching for that exquisite moment of perfection.
Then you neve forget that cafe. If someone mentions the place you say: oh yeah there's a little place there: great cake. |

I love making cakes, and they taste lovely-according to everyone who eats them-but I don't like cake that much.
It's bitty and crumbly, and sticky.
Not forgetting all the butter and sugar etc.
Cake is for special occasions in my book. |
