my mum has got a schi-schon, schitzu/bischon frisse cross......she's a lttle cow 
we saw a shorkie once in pets at home, a schitzu/yorkie cross that was quite sweet
seems schitzu arent fussy who they shag with all these crosses with them  |

I have a Lhatese ... Lhasa Apso X Maltese.
He's very cute - looks like a little golden teddy bear.
People will try to cross poodles with lots of other breeds as they can use 'poo' or 'doodle' in the name which gives it a certain cuteness  |

Sweet. We're not sure what mix is in the pup. He's obviously got some Jack Russell but he also looks like he might have some Dachshund and Corgi too. |

That too of course but you can't deny the potential is there for amusing names. Maybe Schitzus are popular for the same reason.
Thing is, many of these deliberate cross breeds are more expensive than a full pedigree dog. I know mine wasn't cheap!  |

Maltipoos are very cute (Maltese/miniature poodle). But if/when I get dogs I'd rather have a standard poodle (or two). They're a lovely natured dog which take training very well (originally a sheepdog) and don't shed much. They need regular trimming - they have hair not fur, one reason they get crossed cos hair just keeps growing unlike fur which reaches a certain length and stops but sheds heavily at times. |
