i now a lot of you use it so just wondered if ayone else has had a pop up message about the service expiring in 14 days?
not the chain message thats been doing the rounds for monts but an actual pop up when loading the app? |

go into settings and then account.....then payment expiration and you will see a service expiration date, mine is 17.02.13 
as the account is linked to my phone number and i want to keep that i guess its either pay or use something else  |

I don't know if it makes a difference what phone u got but I got an iPhone and I got the app for free but had noticed months ago its now being charged at 69p but I've not had to pay that cos I already have it |

I didn't get that on my phone. I'm on an Android and have never paid for whatsapp. I updated the other day and its working fine. |

do the check above and see if you have a service expiration date.

I just checked on Google Play and it mentions nothing about it only being free for the first year, quite the opposite in fact. It goes to great lengths to state that its completely free at all times (unless dat charges are incurred).

I believe it's free for a year on android etc then you have to pay, and iPhone it's usually free to install and free forever. (Which makes a pleasant change coz apple are normally ribbing buggers) x |

I use it but Ive never had a pop up and Ive never heard of a charge. It wouldnt suprise me though. The only messages Ive had are "a new version of whatsapp is available update now" but Ive not updated yet. I dont use it very often  |
