What makes a person kinky?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I have nothing against a person being kinky or have a fetish as long as it's between consenting adults and legal.
I have been called kinky many times and I have argued that I have not, so my question is what makes a person kinky in your mind?
Is it the way they talk, dress, act or the things they have done or is it something more? |

Not shour to be honest as one person kinky could be another person vinnila
Ie someone could find 3 somewhere kinky as they not had that meny or never at all
But another person could find them vinilla ie they had loads or a frequent atendet / atndee at gangbangs
If I get called kinky I normally just take it how it is that person finds it kinky even though it just maybe the norm or vinnila to me
I just play along when they do and I don’t think it is
It’s about both parties injoyment so if they find something kinky whare it’s just norm for me I play along and yes oooyes I very kinky |

Good question Cherry , I think we all have different views on what is kink, some are extreme some not. It’s what works for you I think.
Having spoken with you before, I share some of your preferences but are they kinks? |

I know we share some of the same preferences having spoken before, that is what I am debating with someone are they kinky or just preferences.
I will say that I am not for want of a better word vanilla. |

To me, someone who’s kinky is someone that enjoys exploring new sexual activities and fantasies that fall outside of the “traditional norm”. Traditional norm to me means just normal sex in the house where a change of position is as adventurous as it gets.

"I guess, being adventurous maybe the answer...!
...since I believe we all have a bit of kink in us."
I think a lot of people have sexuals desires/fantasies which is perfectly normal, is it the act of living them out that makes a person kinky or just more liberated. X |

Everything makes a person kinky as there's no such thing as normal. Whatever you are into is your kink, ergo it's your thing. Even those who are puritanical and say, you must do this, you can't do that, that's their kink although they wouldn't use those words.
Everyone is a pervert, whether you fuck everyone or no one. If it's what you are into, it's your kink |

I have been called kinky in the past for wanting more than "lights off, missionary position sex" haha. That was before I met Mr. Where we live, simply being swingers is considered outrageously kinky...whereas its just normal for us. So I guess its just subjective

My serious answer would be kink is anything that deviates from ‘norms’ of sex. So anything beyond standard oral, penetration, positions can be argued to be kinky. In terms of a person- someone that is interested in sex outside of ‘norms’ and *maybe* someone that is expressive about their sexual deviance in dress, personality etc. |

I’d argue yes
But a penis or a finger in the butt is completely normal |

I'd say both since the thought process in itself could be regarded as a kink with the act an indulgence.
Have fun whatever your kink happens to be, between consenting adults it's all good...

Is that kinky or preferences of what you may or may not like? |

What about a Butt plug or ginger is one normal and the other kinky? |

In order for it to be kink it has to be something that you take some form of sexual pleasure from that goes beyond two people having vanilla sex.
This is incredibly broad and will change from person to person.
But for the most part it can be seen as any non normal sexual practice.
Now you just have to define what a normal sexual practice is...
For some, anal is normal... for others it's wild.
For some threesomes are normal... for others it's in the realms of fantasy.
Is watching porn kinky? does it depend on what sort of porn you're watching?

Butt plug totally normal. I wouldn’t say anal is kinky personally. But playing with food? Lil bit |

I the person I was debating this with said it does depend on the baseline of the other people. What I enjoy I see as normal to me so there go I don't see myself as being kinky, but from another person point of view it seems kinky. |

You have to see it from the wider perspective, although it may be normal to you that doesn't mean it's not kinky anymore.
Me getting dressed up, chained up, whipped and fucked up the arse is normal to me and I don't consider myself a kinky person at all.
But I do understand that it is actually a bit kinky especially when viewed from a "normal persons" perspective |

I think it's subjective. I'm incredibly vanilla when being intimate with men but not so much with women.
So I would probably call anyone who is more adventurous than me "kinky"
(Although I'm not very adventurous at all) |
