Take selfies? Or pictures of yourself?
I find that as I’m learning to love myself for the way I look I’m becoming more confident and I’m taking more pics of myself. Not to send anything. But sometimes I like an outfit or I like the way I look and I’m going to do something nice, I’m getting pics now to look at and I’m not hating them so much and deleting straight away.
How often do you take selfies? Or have people take pics of yourself |

Never, I fucking hate taking photos of my face. Forcing a smile that looks half way decent, hoping the light caught it right only to realise that I really don't photograph well. |

I take them often, not to send to others but generally just for me. Have weird thing where I don't recognise my face as belonging to me for periods of time. Just come out of that so it's a bit of a novelty to acknowledge my own face. Though it's a total pain in the arse, as I've lost weight and have now gained extra wrinkles, life is a bitch sometimes  |

Not that often, I only take them if I think I look particularly nice that day or I’m going out somewhere.
I take silly ones to send to my group chat with my friends quite a lot though. I’ve got to sift through them all on my phone to find a decent picture  |

Never, selfies are a fiasco, always grimacing, or squinting, or multiple chins due to the angle. Besides in my minds eye I am still 28, whilst the selfie adds 30 years to that (and who's the grey haired bloke in the image?) |

When it comes to sexy pictures, it's whenever I feel like posting one to Fab and want to impress someone/feel half decent/like my outfit etc but it isn't often I am reaching for the camera lately.
And as for solo face selfies, not that often. Maybe a few times a month if I'm having a good hair day or if my makeup looks nice. |

I hate pictures others take of me usually. I think it's a weird not being in control thing. I take a better selfie.
I'm now at a point where I do want to make memories and capture moments. Particularly with friends and family. So I guess I maybe take a few a week with them.
Ones of me vary. |

General solo selfies? Hardly ever. I very rarely look good in them, and also feel like a bit of a prat ever taking one in public. Will happily take a group selfie though.
But, generally speaking, I don't my photo being taken by others on holiday/nights out etc - I like to have pictures to remember things by. |

Never ever unless I need to sell something.
Usually myself.
Frankly that needs hardly much work these days either.
Luckily, despite my over abundance of confidence, I'm weirdly not that self absorbed. |

Take selfies? Not very. If someone asks or I think, yeah you don't look too bad or I want to remember a moment I will. A few times a month?
Have others take photos of me? Well I'm trying to undo years of always hating and avoiding the camera. I'm not the most photogenic person, I'm not particularly attractive.
I'm also not getting any younger and I don't want to look back and think "gosh Meli, you shouldn't have disliked how you looked" so probably a couple of times a week. |

I took one the other day and sent it round to a few people. They've all blocked me now it seems. One person said "Is THAT what you look like when you're on top?!"

I am totally with you here. Absolute control freak and won’t let others take my pic.
But, I have a routine of pics I share with a friend each day.
Bed when I wake up
In the car
In the bath
Bed before I go to sleep |

I enjoy taking pics of myself and the wife but I hate having my pic taken. I think it’s the height! If I’m not the one holding the camera all pics are me looking down

Hardly ever I don't like pics of myself, I send the Mr the odd lingere pic if I'm feeling particularly confident.
I do try get pics with the kids it's good to have memories to look back on, but selfies on my own never.

Selfies… rare.
We do like to take regular pictures of each other though, it’s one of the best things about this site that you can display your body generally and play around with different styles and looks. |
