But after two days of cooking I think I need to lay down and nap

.

Has anyone else taken up something they don't usually do? My cooking skills end at cooking rice to perfection (which is quite hard apparently). If Mr gets this job then it's down to me to cook every single night for a number of months

Is the job really worth all that suffering? Think about it.

Both the cooking and eating of the final product.

The pay rise can pay for takeaways. Win-win.

Make him get a freezer and microwave then he can batch cook your meals in advance.

Think of all the different types of rice you could eat with the pay rise though

Sticking ith the food themes, I've started to do my meal prep again since before the new year. It's effort though to batch cook everything on a Sunday when it's valuable "doing nothing" time

You've seen me in action before. Wasn't there 10 last time? Remember shouting at everyone to be quiet because love island was on?

It isn't! Do you use a saucepan? In which case:

(Uncle Roger voice) Haiya! World War 2 is over, use technology. Use a rice cooker!

Do you willingly want to tire yourself out with a "non-lazy" way of cooking rice and risk it being imperfect? I thought this thread was about you adjusting to cooking more lol. In which case, you should use all the help you can get!

As Bill Gates said: "I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it."

I mean I can cook almost anything to a semi decent standard (not professional) but I'd want to exchange it for not a quickie.... Maybe you and F getting it on
