On the back of the organising thread, I'm wondering what things you are looking forward to.
Small things that just make you smile (we all need more of those)
Or bigger things or adventures?
A celebration, a holiday, a day off or even just your favourite food for dinner?
I love having things to look forward to, so I try to have plenty on the go. |

For once I'm not going to waffle on excitedly about future plans.
I'll mention something because of proximity, nothing more. Don't want to inflate his ego.
Coffee tomorrow. Can't wait to have a decent iced coffee. Seeing him will be... okay. Not the main draw. |

Was looking forward to a weekend away in the lakes this weekend but the weather had other ideas, so now we're looking forward to going to watch the Motorsport next weekend (it better not persist it down)

Nothing in short term
Long term a few things
My daughter moving in with me she’s adamant she will once her rabbit dies but expecting her mam to play hell
Getting my bastard house finished just need to find the time
Getting some passive income to fall back on so don’t bother going to work on winter and book less in during summer

I'm going to the Womad festival in a few days. My new wellies arrives yesterday and I practiced how to pitch my tent. I'm looking forward to it despite the current forecast. For various reasons, I haven't been to a festival since 2017. Then heading to another festival in August. Inbetween festivals, I have a second meet planned with someone, which I'm looking forward to but trying not to be too excited about. |

A few things at the moment, the big one being our wedding little wait for that though.
We've a social in a couple of weeks I'm excited about.
Hopefully the rain will subside a bit to get the kids outside and start to enjoy the holidays.

your wildest dreams, |
My daughter and I have our birthday spa break booked. Our birthdays are a week apart. We usually have a chilled spa day but this year it’s her 21st so we’re having a few days away with lots of treatments, good food and cocktails |

21 day matured Angus steak and cheese and bacon filled potato skins, followed by apple pie with custard and double cream for dinner tonight... all made so much more palatable after getting lucky with the yellow stickers and spending a while 47p on it all
I have to hold on to the simple things but long term I'm hopeful |

"Right now I'm looking forward to the caramel banana loaves to come out the oven

Can I call in for a slice? X. "
There is a pretty big chance that within 3 minutes of them coming out the oven they will be in my belly... You can lick the crumbs off my chin though
