Release date June 14th !!! 2 days after my birthday !!
I simply cannot wait for this it looks EPIC !!! I have always loved the Superman movies ( even though Superman returns got slated )
However with Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan at the helm how could this possibly be anything less than EPIC !! Check out the trailer gives me goose bumps lol !!

Man of Steel is one of the films I look forward to seeing in a cinema this year.
I liked the last one too, even though it did not receive good reviews.
As for Superman, IMHO, Christopher Reeve is still the best.

Massive thumbs up from me !! Superman returns was excellent and what most dont realise is it was made as a tribute to Christopher and Martha Reeve

I'm a huge Superman fan. The moment i heard of a reboot I was searching constantly every week for new news.
For the first year or so I honestly thought what the studio should have done is end Smallville with him finally putting on the suit, then start the films with Tom Welling as Superman, then if anyone wanted a back story, they could buy the dvds.
Then when they announced Henry Cavill, I was like WHO?
Saw photos being leaked from the set and he was huge.
Saw the leaked blurry trailer from comic con.
Man of Steel was suppose to be out Dec 2012 but delayed it til Summer. Finally first trailer didnt show much but the second was just pure epic.
Can not wait for, literally counting down the days, will be first in the queue.
The way they are going about it, looks and sounds awesome. Think back to the old films, they have basically said how would we today react if someone like Superman suddenly appeared, it would be the biggest thing to happen in human history which the previous films didnt do.
The studio boss has already seen the film and has said he is very excited for whats to come.
Studio wants to see how well it does as they want to do Justice league which is scheduled for 2015.
And if rumours are true, Joseph Gordon Levitt, has been cast as Batman which if you've seen the Dark knight Rises, means big things to come.
Ah so excited. |

The music is bloody awesome as well !! Hans Zimmer is brilliant , I was sceptical about moving away from the famous superman theme but i really think he will do a good job |

He's denied he's in it but that kinda stuff always happens.
There's also a Batman reboot in 2017.
I'm not fussed about this film. Never really liked superman. And returns was just shite.
I just don't see anything likable about him. He can only be hurt by kryptonite and magic  .
And let's not mention his rubbish disguise. A pair of glasses and a different flick on his hair? Terrible. |

yeah i agree each to their own. Superman is biggest of all heroes.
Studio has not confirmed any Batman reboot yet, they want to but with the success of Nolans trilogy, its far too soon.
Nolan had said all along no more Batman movies, he would make an ending to his trilogy which is some aspects is true but he also left it open.
I personally believe and hope that they've already planned something big, that the ending to TDKR is the going to lead to more films. If you look at the Man of steel trailer, it almost looks like its set in a similar world to what Nolan created with Batman. Zack Synder hinted at a new scene being filmed to link it to the beginning of the JL but we wont know til the film releases.

Well the JL film rides on whether MOS Is successful. If it is, then the film will go ahead and Cavil will reprise his role. |
