Our own understanding of ourselves is incredibly simple, if our interest is absolutely 1 unchanging thing for life. How very simple for you. But personality isn't like this for many people. This is what these rigid types have failed and refuse to grasp.
An act, or behaviour, doesn't define the inner intricacies of human personality that's sexual orientation. Grasp that and you're doing well. |

Yes they do, just like gay people have sex with folks of the opposite sex

Like all the gay people who live closeted lives, settling down and having straight relationships, having children until they finally come out.
They were always gay but we’re having straight sex

No they weren’t. For example, Philip Schofield admitted he knew on his wedding day he was gay.
Plenty of people are capable of having sex with people they’re not attracted to.
Being gay and having gay sex aren’t necessarily the same thing

I think it's weird why people are so hung up on using the term bisexual - it's as if they feel embarrassed about it, when they really shouldn't.
For all us that you have labelled as 'rigid types', that have absolutely no interest whatsoever in the same gender or, for some, the opposite gender, they can happily describe themselves as straight or gay.
So those that have a more flexible, changing sexual orientation can happily describe themselves as bisexual, as that covers all those that aren't us rigid types.
Grasp that and you're doing really well.
