Just finished doing a shop at Sainsbury's you don't get much with £100 I think I had 43 items in my basket and it was just over 100 pounds.

How many other people are experiencing this? It's fucking diabolical

Yeah, my tesco shop is mostly the same things, I remember it being an average of £70 a pop, now if it’s less than £150 I wonder what I forgot to add

There's too much choice in these big supermarkets like Sainsbury's etc..although it does price match some stuff to Aldi it's still not cheap. I go to Aldi and every now and then to Sainsbury's for stuff Aldi doesn't sell.

43 items!

You should be thankful.

I only popped in for a large box of continental lager, 3 bottles of Prosecco, a litre bottle of Smirnoff, a box of Malbec and a big bag of pistachios.

That’s 7 items.

£81.40!!!

The same basket was only £78.30 on Friday afternoon.

God knows what it’ll be tomorrow.

I’m at my wits end with all this inflation, might have to give up the nuts if it continues

Food inflation is still very high, it's not surprising that prices are up.

I'm becoming increasingly concerned about how people are going to survive this winter. I thought it was bad last winter with all the price hikes. How the hell are people going to afford to eat. They will literally be sat at home freezing and hungry at this rate. Its totally out of control now!!!!
