Given my recent change of circumstances I've been quite needybthis week and I'm not ashamed to say it.
What's been a massive comfort, really helped me through things, and enabled me to focus, accept and move on, hasn't just been conversations with family - it's been the check ins, the messages and the attention from other fab users and certain regular forumites in particular.
I'll forever be grateful. Its had a massive impact on my wellbeing.
So I couldn't give a shit if people seem 'needy' at times.
Reach out when they do. You probably have no idea how much it can help someone and the positive impact it will have, even if just a simple 'are you OK?' message.
