"Do you ever read through old chats on text or WhatsApp? And just cringe at how much you liked someone? Like ew. "
Oh I like reading things back and seeing how much I liked someone even if that situation has gone it reminds me of the joy of desire and the variations of it. Even my long term ex it is nice if something pops up. |

No because it can be painful. Did that once a few years ago and really regretted it.
What I do do though is if someone says they've never said something, or they tell me something I know isn't true, I'll search for the keyword to make sure I'm not crazy. It's learned behaviour after a less than ideal relationship where I was frequently told I'd imagined something, they hadn't said that, I always behave in a certain way... it's a little way of making sure I'm not actually crazy or I'm not behaving in that way all the time. |

"Sometimes it's helpful to see in hindsight that you weren't getting what you deserved. "
Real!
I look back at chats sometimes and I’m like I was so blinded by love. |

"I’m not even interested in what I said yesterday let alone old chats
Well yesterday you called me hot. So I’m interested in that "
Everyone calls you hot dahlink. |

"I had 37 blocked females on whatsapp just checked. I'm going straight to hell
I haven't got 37 people on my WhatsApp contact list. Just checked, three men blocked."
My work runs on Whatsapp, it's infuriating |

Some I do.
They are a form of memory keepsake just like a photograph. Especially of those you remember fondly, even more so when you won't ever see them or talk to them again.
I have deleted plenty of conversations over the years. Never to be be thought of.
Some I keep and don't always read over. But they mean something to me.
One I still have and I've been able to look back at because it's still something that gives the grief feeling. Hurts too much. |

Oh god no. I can barely stand to read what I put a few messages back if it is of the heartfelt variety. Delete it all then consign it too hazy memory, of things that may or may not have been a good idea. |
