There seem to be so much bravado and even what sounds like advocating violence in some of the posts on certain threads on here from time to time. Realy? A case of brawn before brain perhaps? Is that what we want to see in a civilised and democratic society? Some extremely strong minded heads on here and few have their entourage too that like to polarise opinion and drown common sense. Usually the same ones who scare off people from participating on tje forums because of their manner. Some threads end up as a conversation between just the same frw people who might as well just DM each other. I am only saying what I see daily but I suppose it is what it is. I personally prefer threads that are entertaining, informative, inclusive and uplifting rather the ones that are either clearly bait threads or taken over by people intent on creating conflict. Opinion is not the same as argument. I am off to have some breakfast. Have a lovely, preaceful day

I’m a lover not a fighter. Definitely anti-violence.

Except Just Stop Oil, obviously, they can go through a wood chipper.

I like a mixture of threads and yes some get heated but they can be very interesting. I don't really see violence except in your post ironically.

I’m definitely guilty of ending up talking to friends on threads and I know I need to be more mindful sometimes about us just replying to one another in a thread but also that’s how the forums generally seem to go. People reply to their friends and have long exchanges. Sometimes it’s In serious threads sometimes it’s in the flirty threads but either way I see how it’s off putting for people. In terms of violence yeah. I’m not a fan. But some people love that kinda talk. I know they’re not really about it in real life though you can tell.

The thing is, it's an open forum. People can contribute what they want. I cringe at the "bumming" in jokes but some people on here never left that emotional state when they ruled the sixth form common room. I avoid threads where I know my comments could be taken out of context and fuel the fire. Some folk on here are hilarious and others shamefully simp. It's a mixed bag of nuts. Take what you enjoy from it and avoid the trigger buttons.

That is definately true and to be honest I do but it does worry me a little when I see such extreme opinions sometimes. I think there lots of great people and I generally love the forums and post and start threads ( apologies some of them are indeed sily such as the one about my busy lizzies). I will focus on those instead
