I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to English.
The Americanisation of the language does annoy me - don't get me wrong, I'm not militantly opposed to it but find it a nuisance.
So it grates me a little when I see British people using Ass instead of Arse. To me, an Ass is a donkey.
What do you think? |

Every time I hear 'arse' I think of the Fast Show and can't help saying the word in any other regional accent than West Country.
A bit like 'tight' I have to say in an Irish accent 'toit'
So 'ass' it is for me. |
