I'm probably seen as way more attractive than I should be on here and definitely more popular here than in the real world.
I think it's more to do with the 'vibe' I put across in my photos, profile and the things I write on the forums.
I am genuinely that woman who doesn't get looked at twice in real life.
Its no different for men. |

The eyes are the windows to the soul.
Would it be safe to say men are visual on the whole picture. Women like a more emotional or personal connection and so the eyes and facial expressions will say it all.
You can't describe a nice face, you'd have to describe the expression, mannerisms, and finer details and it's near impossible to nail it exactly. You just know it when you see it.

Personally I don't know. And that works for what I find to make a face attractive and what others view to feel my face is.
I'm not confident in my facial attractiveness. I don't feel like I'm much of a stand out in any way. Average or just below. Sort of a face that just exists.
Yet I have had some. Amazing and gorgeous people at reacted to it, and not put off by it despite me thinking they would. |

I've found men attractive who are ugly as sin to others.
On here it's difficult to feel attraction from just a face pic. I have to talk myself into talking to people sometimes, and if I'm not in the mood for that I'll swipe no.
Personality doesn't come through from a few lines of what they are looking for.

Fuck knows. I know I've got a six pack. I don't think I'm particularly well endowed. My face looks rugged and often tired.
So fuck knows why "anyone" would find me attractive. I know I have certain attributes that contribute to certain attractions. But I couldn't say who or why. |

To be honest I never quite know how to react when someone sends me a face picture, of course there has been times I've instantly found them attractive but I've always assumed it was the person as a whole that made me want to spend time with them.
On the flip side I spend all day looking at images and making content for others, yet can't take a good picture of myself and find it difficult to sell my personality on here. |

I’m be had a beard for about 15 years it covers a multitude of sins… and scars
I have told it suits my face and my personality.
It takes lots of looking after, oils and brushing to keep it clean and soft.
I’m confident enough to feel I can be myself and just okay nice. I’m the forums and in life.
I’m not attractive more Rugged than handsome.
And I’m happy with that
I don’t wear suits often… feel so uncomfortable dressed up. So I can’t dress as a gentleman.
I’m happy dressed as a bum, or a hillbilly 
I’d say what ever you have, be confident not arrogant and

I have had some extremely attractive people (personally that I'd have though would never find my face attractive) tell me I am attractive and handsome.
Now there is always the chance of that being them polite, but they are definitely honest with their approach to things, so I believe them. But I know full well that plenty of people simply don't find my face attractive. |

I think good facials feature help but don't forget another factor is what's that face communicating? For example what if you put the two profiles on tinder with the same handsome face, one with a lovely warm smile and one looking miserable. Same face but which one would get more likes? So whatever your face be aware of what it communicates about you and your personality. |

Whenever I send a face pic people seemed to be surprised! I either get ‘ thats not what I thought you would like like’ or ‘ I didn’t think your face would looked like that looking at your body’

My taste in faces 
As a general comment across all dating sites it amuses me how little men take candid smiley pics. The blue steel approach is not always necessary, and sometimes all that intensity at the camera makes you look stared

Mrs Marchel & I were talking about this the other day.
For us both, and as shallow as it may sound, looks are important, no question.
BUT!
If we met an insanely good looking couple, and they absolutely loved themselves, then that is a turn off. We would much rather have a meet with an ordinary looking couple which who we could have an absolute blast.
The latter has happened to us, even during sex we were all laughing, and was one of the best nights we've ever had.
So, to summarise, although looks attract initially, they count for nothing without a wicked sense of humour and personality.
For those who can't find anyone on here to play with, or are at the very best, struggling, get out to a club and make people howl with laughter, you'll definitely get a lot further than those who don't. |

I've spent time chatting to extremely conventionally attractive people, look like models and it was like trying to get blood out a stone. I got bored and moved on quick. I also have been extremely attracted to certain people, absolutely gorgeous face but turn their behaviour put me off and so they instantly became unattractive to me , major ick.
That being said I have a thing for gingers lol OK that's hair not face. Damn what IS an attractive face, hard to describe. |

It's the way someone's eyes light up when they see you. That genuine happiness, which shows on all of their face, whether it's a soft half smile or a wide grin.
Those subtle clues that a man is attracted to me; the little flush of colour, the way their eyes darken deliciously. That shift in timbre because they're thinking about intimacy with me.
I like faces that are passionate and tell a story, the lines, the little perfect imperfections. I like a mouth that makes me want to kiss it, a nose that makes me want to sit on their face.
I know it was a jokey thread. I also think sometimes men think/it's assumed they have to look a particular way to be attractive to women. To catch someone's attention. It's so far from the truth.
