Do you like the sound of your own voice

So many people tell me I have a hot voice, but when I hear it in recordings I cringe.
I am told that it’s deep and soothing but I just don’t like hearing it  |

I don't hate it. Sometimes I kind of like it. Not really my voice, more the effect it can have on people I like. I think of it as very bog standard Home Counties - people who are good with accents can hear where I've lived because those accents creep in from time to time.  |

No….. if I could change only one thing it would be that….. was going to do a video for a thread once (strange I know) but the lady who asked was saved by not being able to upload vids but she probably would have blocked me if she received it…. |

Not sure how many people can say that they have actually had to work on their voice but that just another joy of being trans.
I know mines not the best but I’m happy it does the job I hoped it would.
Just please don’t make me shout. My old drill instructor voice comes out then and I absolutely hate that

I'm usually a relatively quiet person, but of late I've found that I like the sound of my own voice a little more than I have.

My career requires a lot of filming myself and watching it back with seniors. I have learned to become happy with my own voice but initially it was hard. The purpose of the films are to be assessed, so I guess that didn’t help! |
