We are discussing something that is in news and why 2 similar stories have had such different amounts of coverage.

It's interesting that GB news went after the BBC about Edwards, but are totally silent aside from allowing Wootton a 6 minutes statement.
He's a sleaze journo, always has been. I guess we will find out how far he went if charges are brought. |

You could argue the wooton again made his case a public interest story, in regards to tweets he made about schofield and Edwards… and that it would show hypocrisy! Which is why he probably deleted all the tweets he made, not before people made screenshots of them so he can’t deny anything  |

Maybe not well known has Huw Edward or Philip Schoefield. But he's well know enough for the media to take a interest in it. I actually didn't know Hugh Edward was by name until the story blew up. Knew by face, has had seen him enough times. |

The timing is only the timing because of wooton’s tweets about Edwards as if he was taking the high ground, the allegations had been known in Fleet Street for a while and alluded to in the spectator and private eye but that was as far as it went until the tweets he made… and then removed when his allegations became wider known! |

Wooton has been accused by several people of black mail, threats and bullying etc. Not to mention there are two allegations of drugging and r*pe.
Huw Edwards is a bit of a non story as the alleged victim has said it is all lies and nothing happened. Also two police forces have looked into it and decided no criminality took place.
If the allegations against Wooton are true then we know there would be a case to answer as black mail and r*pe are most certainly not legal!
The biggest issue here though regarding the media, is that Wooton is Rupert Murdochs lap dog and probably has plenty of dirt on him and seeing as Murdoch controls most of the media nothing is being reported!!!! |

I do know what he’s been accused of, the story came from a ex lover who allegedly abused Wooton. Is this person a trusted source? He may be guilty however I’m unsure at this point if there’s legs to the story

It seems to be using Farage’s old trick of claiming to be anti establishment while to hoodwink people.
Yeah the right do also share most of the same opinions, i see more left wing stuff online but that may just be my experience. i agree anything involving Farage is a red flag. im seeing something play out in real time and im trying to work out whats really going on
Wooton has been accused by several people of black mail, threats and bullying etc. Not to mention there are two allegations of drugging and r*pe.
Huw Edwards is a bit of a non story as the alleged victim has said it is all lies and nothing happened. Also two police forces have looked into it and decided no criminality took place.
If the allegations against Wooton are true then we know there would be a case to answer as black mail and r*pe are most certainly not legal!
The biggest issue here though regarding the media, is that Wooton is Rupert Murdochs lap dog and probably has plenty of dirt on him and seeing as Murdoch controls most of the media nothing is being reported!!!! "
There’s lots of red flags in regards to Huw Edwards. There’s 7 people that have made allegations and he’s being investigated by the BBC.
Regarding Wooton, I have not seen the r*pe allegations. I have today seen people tweeting about r*pe but with no substance. There’s also a lot of Red flags in regards Wooten. I don’t think he’s a good person.
