Not woe is me

So a serious question from me for once

For anyone who is in the D/s lifestyle how do you ever recover from losing the person you loved and cared for.

Not just the D/s lifestyle, but the opening of vulnerability to each other, living in someone’s head for so long and them in yours. That when they leave you with no valid reason you spend hours and weeks and months being self critical and self loathing and searching.

That until you feel that you have that answer you see red flags in certain situations with others that really are not, or, you self destruct and push others as way so you don’t feel the same hurt, like a shield.

It’s been 2 years and never having that closure means that when I am tired or don’t feel well, health related, these doubts manage to creep back in

Any advice is much appreciated

I don’t really know what the answer is fella, but I hope that you are able to find peace and move on with your life looking forwards, not back. Is there anyone you can talk to?

All the best
