Wish women would reply with a let down message or just block if not interested ( be easier than just waiting and waiting... we all know females get 100s of pms but we dont know if they just haven't had chance to reply or the mesaage has been lost among all the others etc lol... probably is they aint interested but theres always that niggling feeling and you want to pm again lol...Is it just me ? I would rather have a reply back saying ' not my type' or be blocked so I know ????

Search the other hundreds of forum threads on this exact topic. No reply = not interested. People can manage their inbox how they choose. Sending a reply to say ‘not interested’ just generates abuse or another message saying ‘but why not’ / ‘give me a chance’ and it is never ending. |

It must feel really shit to get no response all the time. A reply or any acknowledgement would be good, even if it's a no.
Unfortunately some men get abusive when a woman says no, hence why it's often better to do nothing at all. Blame the abusive men.

Just move on, once sent. Possibly make notes.
Aim to learn from what you do. The onus is on you, the sender, to manage things, not someone who didn't solicit your message to have to help you deal with the consequences of your choices and behaviour. |

OP, do you really want loads of rejection messages over the 'no reply reply'? I think that sounds worse. I would just send and delete, then any reply's a bonus.
Or don't send initial messages and wait to be messaged - then you'll know they liked the look of your profile... |

The other reason people do not reply is if say for example, I replied to you and 29 others today with a polite no thank you then tomorrow I decide to block single males from messaging. The filter will not block those 30 single males from messaging because I have engaged with you already even though it was a no thanks.
I prefer my filters to work when I need them to not to and replying to messages stops them from being effective. |

I usually reply with a no thanks. Which usually means I then get another message off them, either an OK (which is fine but pointless), a but why (which would have been answered if they'd read my profile to begin with) or a Well you responded so you must want my dick (which is just fucking dumb).
If I didn't know I was a masochist before now the fact that I continue to respond rather than ignore really makes it abundantly clear. |

You have a meet verification, you are doing better than me. In over a year on Fab, all I have managed is a five minute cam chat with a localish couple who have since left the site. In my experience sending messages is a complete waste of time unless you have loads of meet verifications. |

That's definitely my experience of Fab. I have looked at so many profiles that met blokes of my age group, and had the same interests as me, that say "will only reply to blokes with meet verifications".
I would say 99% of the profiles I look at that fit my criteria, and where I fit their criteria, I am unable to message them because of their requirement of meet verifications. It's so frustrating being unable to even make initial contact with people to see if there is any interest. It sometimes feels like Fab is a closed shop where only meet verified members are accepted.

Many of us who are not "meet vefified" make a great deal of effort with our profiles and constantly update our profile and add up to date photos, but still have the same lack of success as the "blank, silhouette" profiles as you call them.
So, yes, many of us do "get off our arses" and make an effort on here. But when you are constantly faced with that brick wall in front of you of having no meet verifications, making it impossible to make an approach people, then making connections and meeting like minded people on here is impossible. |

As a woman I wish men would have photos on their profile and send a clear face photo with there message. I also would like to see a profile that is not rushed, vague or gives off the vibe that any hole will suffice.
Then I might reply if I'm not interested, however then I wish I wasn't met with hostility, be told its "my loss" or called ugly and fat. Men, if you want better then be better. OP this is not directed at you. Just my experience of the site. |

A lot of guys can't do rejection. Fab rules clearly state no message means not interested.
Resorting to abuse is a poor reflection on oneself, and unattractive. Anybody who has the balls to show themselves here, should be respected |
