What a weekend of top class rugby for all the fans of the world, Scotland with their young team hoping to win the Culcutta cup. Ireland, always strong, always steady and amazing on the attack. France, precise, stealthy once again the favourites looking to improve on years past. Italy, finding their feet, constantly growing and now starting to become a major force. Wales, last years Grand Slam champions but losing a few stars and stars in the making ready to set the game alight.
I’m sure all the great nations rugby supporters will all be glued to their TV's and radios, pensive, nervous with fingers crossed, hoping and praying England loose every game and get driven into the mud at every stadium!
Good luck Scotland!

I liked your post right up until the England bashing. Sigh, such resent as only comes when you know you're onto a beating. Never mind sweaties, there's always the chance of another wooden spoon to go with last years. |

Ive come to peace with the England bashing.
Im of Scottish Norse decent. Lived in and repressed Wales. Now take the stance of
'if you hate the Enlish, you FEAR them' so I pity you.
Wishing all nations a great tournament x |

" Muppet!!! The only 'loose' on display will be the loose-head props. I think Scotland are a great side in the making but no match for England. Keep bashing the English - we love it. Btw I am English but part native American. |

"Right I'm a big rugby league fan but I'm going to watch the England game with an open mind, and see if I can enjoy it"
Watching the Wales v Ireland game would have been a good start. Fantastic game of 2 contrasting halves! |

I'm Scotish and admittedly not a sport fan of any sort but it does make me feel sad and ashamed at the England Bashing during competitions. My sister and her hubby visited here once and my brother in law was amazed to find that the English in the pub were routing for Scotlands game... he just couldn't understand why they would do that when the Scots would always cheer on ANYONE other than the English. 'Tis sad I think |

Maybe but I'm not Welsh or Irish so the game has no interest for me, at least with the England game I have the fact its England and I can be patriotic |
