Do you feel to leave or take a break, when the convos dry up. When you don’t catch anyone’s attention or is it simply you feel like you haven’t got the energy. This isn’t a form of people to flood my inbox merely to see if it’s the break you need or to stay and get your mojo back

I take Fab breaks frequently, from a few days to a few months.

Some people have unfriended me by the time I return, which makes me sad

What is it that makes you take your breaks

Only you can answer that.

It sounds like a shitty cliched response but ‘when the fun stops stop’ is a good rule of thumb

an abstract world

I don't have any expectations from the site so it doesn't bother me if there's no conversations. I do just like using the forums and if anything else happens then happy days.

I take a break if I run out of energy. I feel like I've got a pot of socialising energy and when the well runs dry it's time to retreat and recharge.

Same question berks what’s the reason you take breaks, but of course only share if it’a something you don’t mind in sharing

The first time we took an extended break it was because we were busy getting to know someone. The second time, we were made to feel unwelcome. Now we just pop in and out whenever we’re bored.

We had a couple of months break from the site just recently.

We seemed to be just getting nowhere with it.

Anyway, the break did us good.

The novelty wears off, or I’ve got better things to do. The football season starts again soon, and I have a nice holiday, so shiny new things take precedence, until I get the urge again.

I think like any kinda social media...fab can be kinda addictive.

And it does some people good to take a break. I've never went a prolonged amount of time away...but few days..upto a week has happened fairly regularly.

For me its more about being disciplined and doing productive stuff...rather than mindless scrolling that this place can lend itself too.

The people on here who matter to me have other ways to contact me

I take a couple of days, weeks or months break from fab, usually because I've got something going on in my life, or because it just gets to me on here and I need time away from fab.

We take breaks now and again. Sometimes we're just not feeling it. Sometimes we're satisfied enough with the most recent meet we had . Sometimes we have things going on IRL that takes priority.

Any number of reasons. When I'm getting annoyed at people I don't know. When it becomes mindless or boring. When I have other things that need my focus

I find I usually have to roam a little from time to time.

When things start to feel repetitive usually.

Or something else has grabbed my attention.

Not sure there's a rhyme or reason. I can make something up if you want me to.

It usually takes me at least 6 months to even become mildly curious again.

There's so much more going on in the real world for a single person.
