Anybody on here SI or SSI?

I’m sight impaired and always (pardon the pun) looking out for fellow fabbers with vision impairment when I’m out and about.

One thing I won’t let this disability do is stop me from enjoying myself and travel all over with some fantastic fabby friends.

There probably won’t be many on here but please say hello and introduce yourselves

P.s. I still enjoy a blindfold on occasions… I’m not blind as a bat yet

I got a stint of Snow Blindness (photokeratitis) after a spell in Norway

It was only my left eye, the right is fine! When I got back in the UK I got an eye test.....and found out the damage!

I went for the Jeffrey Dahmer glasses

I have cataracts developing in both eyes.

My sight was perfect up until 10 years ago but slowly and surely the strength of my glasses are getting stronger and stronger.

Not so good when you're working with fine detail.

Yes… it’s frustrating how certain things change and how much we take our sight for granted.

I had my cataracts done a couple of years ago. The difference is amazing.
