Hey Happy Monday!
I must of sent 10s of 1000s of always polite and very respectful direct messages. I tried so hard to personalise the messages and not “copy & paste” and hardly ever get a reply let alone a meet up.
There’s got to be an easier way for a straight single guy |

I appreciate there are perceived “creepy people” around and ladies have to be very careful. I look after myself, I take care in my appearance and I’m always respectful. I know what I’m doing when it comes to having fun. However as a straight single guy having to genuinely send 10s of 1000s of messages over three years and to hardly meet anyone etc etc. |

It really doesn't matter how many messages you send ...not just you ...but anyone,.if they're interested they will reply ..if they're not they won't..you probably wouldn't reply or take things any further if you weren't interested...that's what they do ..or your message could be lost among the 100's upon hundreds a woman gets here. |

Also for the record, "there are creepy people... I'm always respectful" and that sort of stuff, is a bit necessary but not sufficient. To me it comes across about as well as being proud that you wipe your own arse all by yourself. (This isn't just aimed at the OP, it happens a fair bit) |

Get to some Socials, Maybe a Club but Don't give up and lose Hope..
I've sent out quite a few messages (Same as Yourself, references to profile info to show you've read it and respectful) to Local(ish) Ladies and had nothing back, it's nothing Personal , You're just not what they're looking for at that moment..
You never know, they might not have deleted Your Message and might come back to it at a later date..

Defo understand where you are coming from. Done it myself made the messages informative, put certain words in the subject line. Not a single reply so don't really know what else to do.

I don’t think I could send 10’s of 1000’s of messages and keep them all unique and not let some copy & paste vibe creep in.
I found that your profile is key to getting responses, and even then its only going to be from people who like what they see or read. |

that does not sound very discerning, and the 18-99 gives a similar impression.
I tend to only message if someone's profile has a comment that has caught my attention, or if there updates have made me think (or laugh), but generally I don't message but like others have said in your thread join in the Forum and it is likely that something you say will catch someone's attention and they will look at your profile and message you (then again, they might not) |

Aside from reciprocal messages between friends and forumites on here, I've only sent three messages in the last two years. All of my interactions and meets have been on the back of women sending me the first message. |

I very rarely see anyone on fab i want to send a message too never mind thousands, there isnt very many females left that im attracted too on here not like a few years ago, i have now deleted all my pics and just come on to browse every so often, i find tinder or pof alot better for meeting females im actually attracted to. |

suppose it depends what your type is, my type is athletic and there is very few like that in my search area most females are quite large which is fine but not my type,it used to be diffrent on fab on my old profile lots of local nice looking females but now i just stick to other sites. |

Fully with you. Prefer athletic or a little curvy but exhausted the small pool of those that live here fairly rapidly. For the record: exhausted = sent message and very few replies. The OP needs to know what it's like being a sneaky little married fucker trying to find FB/FWB and then he will realise how tricky it can be.
No idea how he can write to so many. Stinks of a little desperation to me and is probably akin to going out to try to pull and you overdo it, but when you just go out to have a laugh you can end up with more than planned. |

10000 messages over 3 years works out at approx 10 per day.
I haven't sent a single message in 3½ years and every conversation since has been started by women getting in touch with me.
Even when I was sending messages I wouldn't have sent 10 messages in a month.
You have to remember that bulk sending messages to people in a particular area will be pretty obvious because a lot of them will know each other and will compare and contrast received messages.
If they perceive that you are sending so many messages it just appears desperate.
If you have to repeatedly remind people that you are nice or genuine it means you are projecting a different image.

I think it depends what kind of thing you are looking for - and I don't mean type/looks of person. If principally you are looking for one on one meets then I can see how other places might work. However, if you want to get more into "swinging" in all its various wonderful guises Fab comes into it's own and offers something very different - eg, meeting couples, threesome, foursomes, moresomes, parties, clubs, organised socials, swinging holidays, kinks, fetish, BDSM, etc. |
