You have a million but you can't spend it on you or family and friends. And no tricks to try and circumvent the rules. You must choose three causes to suppport but can split the money in whatever proportions you like but the minimum for any of them has to be at least 100k. What three will you choose and what proportion of money will you allocate. Btw this is apparently a true question given at a selection centre to candidates. I suppose it's one of those that tests your values etc. The floor is yours

Oh wonderful, an opportunity to virtue signal on t’internet to the womenfolk of Fab what a wonderful kindhearted person I am!

£333,333.33 each to charities to alleviate global poverty, disadvantaged children, and poor little puppies with soppy eyes that have been mistreated.

One of them can even have the spare 1p, I’m that considerate!

Anyway, who fancies a fuck?

(p.s. and whatever answers recruiters asking that question get will be obvious bullshit to ensure they hear what they want to hear .. )

North East Air Ambulance. Where we live this is our only chance of surviving a heart attack or other serious medical emergency. They really need supporting.

A local charity that supports the local agricultural industry.

Zoe's place which is a baby hospice.

I'd split it 60/30/10

I'd have to think before I decided which charity needed it.

I'd look into which ones are not for profit and spend the least on management salaries.

Tonypandy.

Rather than give to charities and chance a large % not actually getting to the cause, I'd contact local hospital, local hospice and local community projects and ask what they specifically need, then buy it. 50/25/25

I was going to give a laudable answer until I saw your post.

I am a wonderful, kindhearted person, obviously, and I want the womenfolk of fab to be aware of this, but not in such a blatantly obvious way.

So I won’t be advertising how I’m giving the money.
