We’ll quit eventually. We don’t take it too seriously and we’re just trying to have our fun while we’re still young-ish.
I think as soon as our kids are old enough to catch us out or start asking too many questions we’ll knock it on the head. |

Never take this seriously. Just a laugh for me, to ease the stress of life |

That’s the best way. It’s just a bit of fun. |

"How easy or hard would it be for you to give up the lifestyle?
Have you already tried and got tempted back?
What would be your reason for quitting for good?
Have a lovely day all. "
We had a rest, we still go to clubs as a couple but play independently on fab. |

We enjoy the adventures - going off on our travels and meeting people but we’d do that regardless of this lifestyle too.
It’s fun and whilst it remains so, we’ll keep doing it. When one wants to stop, we’ll stop.

I'd quit in a heartbeat for 'the one' and find it easy to. I was naturally happy and committed to one man at a time before. I can do that again. But 'the one'......yeah I don't believe for a second that would happen and I'm quite committed to fab life as a result.

Will think about it when the time comes.
I can't see either of us actually wanting to stop unless age stops us or physically we can't anymore. Fab will probably give us up first

I’m actually quite close to giving up the Fabs lifestyle. From a personal perspective I feel as if my race is almost run not just Fabs but life , work and a few other things. How easy would it be to leave it all behind I don’t know but I feel I can do it. |

I’m fully immersed in this world now and have been more so since my first ever club visit 2 years ago. I met my partner through here too and we’re both on the same page in wanting to live this lifestyle.
Yes we swing but we also have a relationship away from this. Think the balance is pretty good so no intentions of giving this all up anytime soon. |

Does anyone every really leave? It's a bit like a boomerang. Always comes back eventually.
I don't see myself as a swinger or in a lifestyle.
I hang out here for fun people and forum entertainment when I am procrastinating, bored or can't sleep. It's better than candy crush because I sometimes get to kiss people |

Pre Covid we met people on here and caught up in Clubs. Covid then turned this into just a social for us, which has been fine. But, in answer to your question, the itch to actually meet people is still strong and Fab is good to connect with people. We will still only meet at Clubs or organised Parties though. Swinging probably never goes away once you’ve tried |

"I look at the lifestyle as a pretty broad spectrum to begin with and I am probably on the fringe anyway.
That's a very good way of putting it. "
Thank you. I have occasional moments of clarity and coherence. Don't let that fool you though, I am really quite mad. |

It's not a lifestyle, for me it's casual sex. Since I don't intend on ever being in a relationship, it's either that or celibacy.
Some days it's a hard choice, others not so much. |

From a personal standpoint — I came here for the tactile sensuality and the 'enhanced vanilla' sex. I didn't think of it as a "lifestyle". Therefore giving up this "lifestyle" would infer giving up the aforementioned.
That won't be happening any time soon. |

I kinda lurk around the edges. I'd get way more involved if there was a club more local to me & a trusted partner in crime to attend with. I still meet one on one from Fab occasionally, which would actually be pretty easy to give up. |

I cut the chord 6 years ago and when I was out, I was out…
Until I wasn’t
If I got married, and if she had no interest in the lifestyle, I’m out for good, |

We could probably leave easily I wouldn't class it as a lifestyle for us, it's something we enjoy occasionally but it's not a huge part of our lives.
We rarely look for meets, I just enjoy the forums. Oh and the boobs, I like the boobs.

Easily but I'm not a swinger. There are things I want to do with my partner that require another person and I enjoy clubs as and when I have the time to go but there's nothing here that I couldn't walk away from. |

If you told me tomorrow we couldn't meet others for sex meets it wouldn't bother me. If you told me we couldn't meet others for socials I'd be abit miffed. We need the excuse to get away from life because otherwise we just wouldn't.. Our excuse would be "what about the kids, it's unfair going away", "money?". But if we're having a social the majority of that goes out the window and we enjoy a bit of adult contact.
But overall, I wouldn't be so bothered. I'd have more time to read books and spend time with Mr of course

I can relate to this more on the kink scene than swing scene.
Was heavily involved in the kink scene for many years, even helping run socials and events. It was my social life and most of my friends were people I met on the scene.
Recently it hasn't felt the same but fortunately know even if I walk away I will have some close friends that will stay friends and still see.
As for fab I would like the chance to explore more but maybe won't miss what never really had if had to give it up |

God this is all feeling rather Logan's Run.
Are we off to Carousel?
Everything ends, we all move on either by choice with agency or without.
Me. I'm not in anything to leave.
My attention will switch and zero in on the one. Thats just me.
The friends I've made though, and I use that particular word, carefully, because those that actually know me realise its considered weight to me, they'll stay.
Oddly, the thought of leaving them "behind" makes me feel a little empty at the notion of being easily discarded. That isn't me.
Fuck. Wait. Erm. No. I seem reasonable. Almost not a prick.
I gets all the shags innit.

It's a bit hotel california for me. If I wasn't on here I'd be giving in to celibacy and never having any type of relationship ever again. As dating sites are just not me.
Age will chuck me out eventually, no idea when that will happen but hopefully when I've finally had enough too! |

I've always said that if I were found someone away from here, I could easily leave the site and not look back. It's great to meet people here and hook up with some of them, but I think I crave the intamacy more which I think I'd get in spades if I did meet someone. |

If by some miracle I ever meet someone who puts an end to my over a decade of being single then I’ll knock this place on the head no problem. Until then I’ll keep browsing and have the occasional meet on my terms when I feel compelled. X |

It'll probably be depression and dislike for myself that finishes me off. I can foresee retreating into myself the way that my dad did after mum died. The only thing that might stop that would be friends, and the majority of my current friends are people that I found through use of this site. |

Used to drift in and out of the scene for years. So doing without is definitely an option.
Being poly I don't think I could go back to being completely monogamous.
Having a single cis het bloke over 45, the likelihood of me getting meets is mostly at clubs and that comes down to having the time and the funds.
So finance and time pressure would be the most likely reason for me.

I mean technically I couldn’t say as I am technically not in the life style or ever been I am single
By the technical term singles can’t be swingers
But I mean I suppose it would be relevant easier if I meet the right person and they didn’t want this life style and they were woth give it up for then yes I would |

I would love to meet a girl that grabs my full attention and keeps it without making effort, I want to give everything of myself to one person and if she came along I’d find this easy to drop.
Sadly I don’t think it will happen for me, never married, never fully settled and I guess that’s just the way it is. |

What is the definition of the "lifestyle"
Does it mean it is in your life 24/7, most of your friends are, your weekends are based around meeting swingers/parties/chatting to them.
Does that then mean your a hardened swinger?
What does the lifestyle mean to you? |

To me it's an ethic of ethical non monogamy centred around friendship rather than relationships. |

I did for almost 4 years. Didn’t miss it. Initially I’d just had enough of the messing about, let it get to me and needed to come away. Then I met someone wasn’t into the scene.
I’m back because it’s fun if you remember that’s what it’s about and don’t let the nonsense become the main focus. |
