It's a miserable grey, rainy morning. What plans have you got to brighten your day. I am thinking of a nice brunch out somewhere but not easy to find anywhere quite and relaxing enough these days but might stilp give it a go

an abstract world

I was meant to be roofing but the weather's put paid to that.

Instead I'll be food shopping, cleaning, then settling down on the sofa to eat rubbish and watch shit on TV.

It's sunny and windy here.

I'm going to cook a roast with lamb.

I have to go Lidl for Yorkshire puddings and stuffing.

It will probably rain as soon as I leave the house.

I'm going to the supermarket, I actually like it. I mostly do online food shopping. Hubby will look after the children. Other stay at home mums will understand. A nice stroll around, looking for bargains, choosing different foods to what's on my favourite list on my online orders. Might even go wild and treat myself to some new slipper socks

Then... a few drinks while I make a roast, rain lashing down, Sunday afternoon movies and precious family time

Probably sounds boring but it makes me happy. We've been in Egypt so we aren't fed up of the rain yet.

It's held off so far. I'm leaving in about 30 minutes; if I wear a coat the sun will shine, if I don't wear a coat it will pour down.

I'll bet my virginity on it.
