Ummm slightly odd I say. But they could, depending on their personality and style, get away with It... Unless it's a date.. but Even so, on the first meet, it's a bit too much, I think. - never had flowers given to me by a date...   |

I had someone turn up with a bunch of really nice flowers the first time I met them.
I don't drink wine/champagne so I suppose that was the next best gesture to make.
Never expected it either so it was a lovely thing to do. |

I'd be pleasantly surprised, not that it's ever happened. I did used to enjoy gifting things, like cake if it was something we'd talked about, but I never felt particularly appreciated for it. So now I don't bother! |

Personally, I would feel a little uncomfortable if it was on a first-time meet. I mentally need to know that if I'm not feeling a connection, I can walk away without feeling like I've taken anything from him- hence the reason I would want to pay for the drinks etc. |

Well it hasn't happened so I cant really say how I would feel 100%.
I think like I said just be a jot taken aback but if I really fancied them I would probably be like aww he is so nice haha. |
