We do on my street when people have parcels delivered, we’re all pretty good for helping out each other out with the post, otherwise we all seem to keep to ourselves |

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
On the first or possibly second day of moving be in a woman several doors down asked to borrow some cooking oil. We said no as we had just moved in. She came back a day or two later. This time we had oil but I said no as I am guessing she would be the type who would just come and take, take, take. She hasn't bothered me since. My two neighbours immediately next door to me I would lend stuff to but one is veering on piss take levels so I've left her WhatsApp messages on unread. |

Yes, we lend each other tools, give lifts if our cars are off the road temporarily, collect prescriptions if one of us are popping into town, share excess fruit, vegetables and plants from our gardens.....all our neighbours are pretty approachable. |
