High Lighthouse! |
This is an idea I had in the shower this morning (all my best ideas happen in the shower).
Based partly that we live on the edge of the world, with not loads of FABbers around.
So it's like a normal holiday home swap, but the people you are swapping with, stay there whilst you visit (for the fun and games).
Then a few weeks later the favour is returned.
What do the FAB dragons think? Are you in? |

We live in a holiday destination. It's not quite The Algarve but you get the picture. We have had people suggest that they come and stay, that we show them the sights (in every possible interpretation of that phrase) and generally provide bed, board, tourist guide and sexual fun. Add an idea it's fun in reality not so much. One couple most generously told us they'd get a hotel if they didn't like us |

Lol
What if you didn't like them?!
Yes, there are some potential stumbling blocks. Weekend stays only for first encounters sounds sensible.
It's definitely not going to be everyone's cup of beverage. Personally I love being the attentive host, others (Ms C. for example) like to be looked after.
Like any other meet on here, I guess you need to vet people carefully. Though it's hard to tell if they leave dirty cups all over the place... |

I think they thought we'd be lucky to have them in our home .
As you say some people love hosting and I reckon (all joking aside) for two similar couples this would work very well. I get a bit twitchy if anyone other than family or very close friends sleeps in my house so I'm not the ideal candidate |

You've already gone through a very thorough vetting process with good friends and family.

abruzzo Italy (and UK) |
I live in a non touristy bit of Italy but it’s got great beaches and mountains and is very picturesque. I have had fab people come and stay for a few days, and fun was had, and I’ve done the same in reverse, I’m certainly very open to that as an option with people |

"Depends if you want to visit our house here in Pennsylvania mountains or our Florida house on the Gulf coast.

Did I mention the fabulous views of Felixstowe? The cranes look majestic in the sunset... |
