The line up so far isn't really exiting me, but I might go in for the day to see Rammstein, although I'd prefer to save my money for a ticket to see just them if there's nobody else I'm fussed about.
Would love to go to one of the big folk festivals but can't afford to |

The line up suits me down to the ground this year but not so much the headliners (except slipknot). Been a couple of years since we went to one so really looking forward to it x |

"I really want to go to Boom festival or Transahara. But totally unlikely this year.
Maybe next year if I save enough. "
It is an expensive hobby, I only like to go if there is enough bands on that I like.
If it would cost me more than the price of my tickets to see all those bands individually then I see it as value for money xx |

My only other option is to sleep with a mate who DJ's both events. But that's unlikely to happen too. Better start saving!!! |

I would really like to go to Download but I've used all my holiday days for a trip to Morrocco in a few weeks time, Christmas holiday and Greece in September. I would love to see Rammstein, Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Coal Chamber, Korn, Mastadon, Down, Stone Sour, Parkway Drive, Jimmy Eat World and HellYeah.
Maybe I should suck it up, buy a ticket and pull a sick day...

We used to go to Glastonbury years ago. We've had great fun there. We haven't been for about 20 years now and can't imagine going now as it looks so busy, plus the bands don't really appeal to us anymore.
When we went it was just a little festival with more alternative type bands.

Problem is, my work know me and my love for all things metal so they'll know that I've pulled a sicky to go. Plus I always find myself on the big screen when I'm on the barriers or crowd surfing so I don't think I could explain that if spotted!!!
The more I think about it, the more I want to go... I love everything about Download! Except last years mud! |

Wheels keeps trying to persuade me to go. I do festivals for the music but Glastonbury sounds so varied plus not all of the music is to my taste. Maybe I'll let him take me one day but with 2 holidays booked and Download beckoning me this year, it'll have to be something I consider for a couple of years time.
I agree with you on how busy it looks-it's quite daunting the sheer numbers of people! I think I would freak out if I split from the group. At Download, I've never had a problem relocating friends x |

The mud wasn't that bad for us-we were smart about where we pitched our tents so we weren't flooded plus the line up last year was so amazing it made up for it! I would have crawled through the mud to see Devildriver and Lamb of God! |
