I don't think it's staged at all.
But I do find it an uncomfortable watch sometimes, because sometimes the one half of the couple really doesn't want to do it. Almost forced into it and it looks really uncomfortable |

I think the couples are genuine, but they fake how new they are to the decision.
The singles are clearly regulars who love it!
And the so-called therapist should be "struck off." It's a great premise, but unfortunately doesn't deliver. |

Like most shows it's probably a bit of both.
The people are likely genuine.
But directors, producers & editors get involved and will edit things or create drama. |

I quite liked it, I think the people already there are paid to do their parts the couples themselves seem genuine though, I like it shows the anxieties and the worries of the couples and it's not made out to be all amazing, it's great when they overcome it and enjoy the experience.
Lots of people share the good side very rarely share their anxieties and worries about swinging so kind of refreshing to see.
