Having a domestic here over the viability of streaky bacon. It's getting a bit heated.
Apparently it is not acceptable in any circumstances.
Is this a popular view? In what circumstances is streaky bacon acceptable, or dare I say superior?
I would say with french toast and maple syrup or on a cheeseburger. |

Chicken breast, wrapped in streaky bacon, covered in freshly made garlic butter and cooked in cream.
It just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't streaky bacon .
Yes a heart attack waiting to happen but it's gorgeous

"It's great for lardons, in in anything saucy or casserole and crispy fried for salad topping! Not for a breakfast!"
Agree with this. It's definitely got its place but that most definitely isn't with a fry up!! |

Yes it is.
Place it lattice style over your turkey while you roast it on Christmas day. Keeps the bird juicy and adds flavour to it.
The bacon should be remover about 1 hour before the bird is done and the bacon put between fresh bread with butter |

"Freak.
Just for the record I don't know this person.
And any connection implied or otherwise, I refute as pure coincidence.
Bollocks "
Criadillas de toro is a popular tapas dish, but let's not shift off topic sweetie. |

I haven’t eaten meat in years but if I had bacon it was thick slices, none of these thin slices of meat that melt on the mouth, give me a chunky piece I need to chew |

If they don't understand that by now, there's no hope for them. It's natural selection pal, let nature take its course. |

Streaky bacon over the turkey or chicken then saved to add with chicken for a lovely chicken pasta carbonara "
I have a sicilian ex who would have gone ballistic at the idea of putting chicken in Carbonara, but as long as it's our little secret! |
