Used to get a regular copy of fiesta and that other Ford car make.
First thing I would turn to was the readers wives section.
Loved it even once or twice seeing someone I had seen locally in.
And when they did the readers wives specials I would always get that mag.
Did you ever send your photos in and appear in the mag.

I've had four sets of pictures published (Not of me!) with accompanying stories.
Both myself and the three different models got a real kick out of doing the photo shoot, loved seeing them in print and got quite a few enjoyable letters and even a meet out of Reader's Replies.
Great fun!

Stupidly allowed an ex to take pics
He deleted the pics in front of me when we parted - but had already sent them in
I found out when one of the lads I worked with (for my dad) showed me them. He was circumspect but I guarantee they would all have loan about it (which means my dad probably saw them too (Ick)) |

That's disappointing. Whenever I sent in pics, I had to get the model to sign a release form and include a copy of a formal ID that bore the same signature. (we used a drivers licence).

I've cum in one I used to deliver to a photographer studio that did the shoots had different sets in the warehouse ready even a beach and boat let us look through is catalogue. |

About 30 years ago a photo that looked like Me was in readers wives.It only showed naked butt cheeks,slight glimpse of a right breast while standing against a wall in a hotel.... And it was definitely the spitting image of My face. My Welsh friends were embarrassed to ask. Showed Me. And I admitted it looked like Me,ex was always photographing Me.. but I had not given consent for it to be shared.It was Me but I did not tell them.I was 21 at the time the photograph was taken. |
