Fab is a double edged sword for me.
It's addictive and like all social media, can have a negative effect on mental health. (NO one posts their shittest moods/days/pictures)
However, on the flip side.
I never really appreciated how many people thought I was attractive. Which is great for the ego, its certainly made me walk with my head held slightly higher.

Def not, I was trying to do a video for a thread and luckily for the recipient could not upload due to meet verification lack off and when I played it back it was hideous to say the least….

Fab is a website, so no it does nothing for me personally. I started swinging a year ago and being out in the clubs has massively increased my confidence, it was rock bottom a year ago  I love the liberation, the fact everyone is so free and all different, everyone is embraced. I still stare at the floor a lot but i am definitely getting more confident. I feel desired in a shallow way like good enough to fuck but thats a low bar isn't it? |

Fab can make me think my photos look good, it never has made me feel sexy, in fact, it’s done the opposite.
But, some people are just simply amazing and can put my mood into overdrive. A person can make me feel sexy, people don’t. ….

I wore green uv contacts for work this weekend. Instantly I felt sexy as fuck. Anytime I get to dress up like a fairy/fae wierd forest creature, sexy clown, Halloweeny crap I'm in my element. |

I can't say it makes me feel sexy I think people like me for the photos they don't know me to like me for me.
The photos however do make me feel sexy the Mr has a way of taking pics that I look at and think wow that's me, kinda like an alter ego I guess.

No. Fab doesn't make me feel sexy or desired or hot.
All the beautiful, sexy people I see in the pictures (and videos I guess, I rarely watch them) cause my feelings of inadequacy and lack of sexiness to rise up and take hold.
There are a couple of people on fab who do make me feel desired. They think I'm sexy, and hot, and that encourages the hint of a belief that actually, to a few people, I am.
The random people who message and tell me I'm amazing right from the start... they don't make me feel good. And I have a level of certainty that if I replied and said no thanks, they'd do their best to make me feel crap, unsexy, undesirable and not hot.
Most people don't like me for my body or pics... they do actually just like me for my personality and I guess on occasion that grows into a physical attraction? I'm not sure. Except my boobs. They attract people apparently.
I'd quite like to be objectified for my body, not just boobs, now and again. |

I wouldn't be on here if I was female. I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd feel constantly attacked.
Which is partly why I try to be as respectful as I can be.
It's often why I've said something in a funny voice in my head. Written it. Read it back and then explained the comment. That in itself goes a long way.

I think I share very similar views to NotSoPosh. I think sometimes people put me on a pedestal, message me because they've read my waffling on the fora. Think I'm something I'm not. They lust after my pseudo intellect. My voice that could whisper promises of things to come late at night.
I don't think I'm often desired physically. Perhaps I need another iced coffee.
I like being desired physically. You know, having someone who wants my body. Not because it's the body of a woman, because it's mine. Someone who desires every inch of me, wants to trace their lips over my soft skin and arouse me as much as I do them.
I know I'm not sexy. Not really. But when someone makes me feel like I am, all of me is and it's exactly what they want in that moment? That does make me feel desired. Sexy. A good byproduct of being on here.
